Five ways to join Room for Discussion
Join…
…as an audience member
Sessions of Room for Discussion are held in public. This means you can join them free of charge. You can also join a session after the formal opening and leave before the formal closing.
…as a member of the press
Members of the press are welcome to attend sessions. Registration in advance is not necessary. You can record the audio of the session in high quality by making use of our plug-in device. If you mention a session in your publication, we kindly ask you also to mention the names of RfD’s parents: University of Amsterdam and Study Association Sefa.
…as an online viewer
All sessions of Room for Discussion are recorded and then placed on this website afterwards. Currently, we are also working to provide a livestream of each session.
…as a guest
Committee members of Room for Discussion make their journalistic choices independently. Nevertheless, you are always welcome to make suggestions for guests to the committee by e-mail, through roomfordiscussion@sefa.nl.
…as a committee member
The committee consists of ten members plus a coordinator from Sefa. Twice a year, there is room for new committee members to join the committee. Are you interested to become a committee member? Send your motivation letter and CV to hr@sefa.nl. Please note that for applicants, fluency in Dutch is required.
